apparently not...
setting up MMM and fook together was annoying to say the least. instead, i opted for MMM and FWE. after hours of setting up mods, i'm finally ready to play! i'm not used to mods being such a pain in my ass.

I was looking into FWE, but I don't think it plays well with Fook. Anyway, have fun! |

Don't let that stop you from playing Fallout 3, though.

If you have the PC version, there are weapon modification kits by way of community mods. Haven't tried any, but I hear they're good. Your basic silencers, scopes, red-dot sights, extended mags, etc. All fully integrated and balanced (aka, if you add a silencer, your damage goes down...etc).

Oh and Freebase was posting earlier about tips and whatnot. I'll just echo what he said, especially the small guns and repair thing. You can't really go wrong with those skills, though there's nothing wrong with trying a melee/explosives or weird energy weapons type build or something. It just won't be as easy. And while I agree it's nice to play evil and kill traders and whatnot... don't nuke Megaton at the beginning, unless you want to cut yourself out of a nice bastion/quest place. And make sure to get the medicine bobblehead at the very beginning in the tutorial. It's on your dad's desk right after the annoying friend wakes you up. |
