Here lately I've been passing the free time I get playing cabal online for the pc platform.

I'll eventually play up to the last part of the last quest where you go in the rotunda to sacrifice yourself for project purity, but not go in... and mercilessly slay every non-essential NPC in the entire wasteland. Or try to set a record for exploding pants.

i'm doing the same though i'm being goody two shoes until flip flopping right at the pivotal moment. i'm waiting until i have the unique scoped .44 magnum specifically for Moira or maybe i'll wait for the unique combat shotgun.

though i must say i was VERY disappointed when my very first character (also named Dave) made it to the aptly named Republic of Dave in the far northeast and was greeted by none other than Dave and not he nor a single other character in that area noticed that there was a new Dave in the midst of their current 'election'.

it left me more disappointed than not being able to send in my super mutant buddy to handle project purity at the end of the main story.

Same here. It's the first game that, when announced, I was all like "holy fuck I need the collector's edition."

I've been playing Oregon Trail. Yup.

But I'm extremely excited for Fallout: New Vegas. When I go over to my buddy's house, we play that one a lot. Both of us have games going right now on it, and it's almost as fun to watch as it is to play. It's a great game.

$74.99 and considering what you're getting... totally worth it.

I really don't like the way they rolled out the rest of the plot in the first Bioshock, definitely crumbled to ****e near the end. Alright game, questionable story progressions.

Haha. I've always completed quests the "good" way because I just feel like a total dick if I don't and plus, I do enough stealing and pickpocketing and killing of traders that I almost feel like completing a quest for positive karma is like an act of contrition. Partly that, anyway, but also partly because you get far better rewards for completing quests the good way. But now... heh.. now I will be such an amazing ass hole.

lol @ the Dave thing. For some reason I only ever started that quest once. And only because I started "You gotta shoot 'em in the head". I had done it on a good character because I had heard you get power armor at the end of it if you juke that one ghoul, but something screwed up and the Dave ended up running off and getting killed by deathclaws somewhere in the wasteland and I couldn't find him to get his special key without spawning it. When I start that quest again, I guarantee you... Dave will be tasting dirt, and I will have his special key legitimately.

Oh, and UGH at followers. I always help out the supermutant guy.. forget his name... and send him on his way. I don't like followers getting my XP. I take care of enemies myself. I even got Dogmeat and made him stay in my player home. lol... just so I can look at him when I'm gearing up. I'd rather not have to give him stimpacks when he gets shot by raiders.. plus, he only growls when red marks appear on my meter anyway, so he's bound by my own perception... he really does no good unless your skills and weapons are crap.

P.S...
If you're on PC.. you should be racking up on mods. FOOK2 and MMM for the win. (plus player homes. I have one in Springvale, underground.)
When you've used the "Terrible Shotgun" that boasts 12 shells a mag and at full condition takes off 90 HP... you're having fun.

^agreed. i had started trying a play through as an evil b1tch on my roommate's old ps3 before it died too. i've always had a very hard time maintaining evilness throughout a playthrough though, it just runs a little too counter to me most of the time. plus i like having people randomly running up to me to give me stimpaks or ammo hehe

did you take the 'black widow' perk? i remember wasting a perk on 'lady killer' with one character and only ever found one npc that gave me new dialog options (the vampire whore - i forget her name).

i'm the same way with followers too, Dogmeat protects my house and that's about it. i keep the super mutant around because by the time i get him i'm normally well past the xp cap and he's badass as hell with his gattling laser minigun.

also - speaking of being an amazing ass hole, SEE Virtual Worlds announced plans today to release a free to play Michael Jackson themed MMO 'Planet Michael'. the trolling / griefing is already in full swing in just the comments, can you imagine what that final product is going to be like? :yikes:
