Wow...how did you end up with a group like that? You win in the ****ty groups department, I never had it that bad. I hope they got you really tanked later.

well... freaks and geeks - it's what you get when you study video game design. the guy who was drunk had also pretty much stopped going to class a few months prior and basically repeated a year so he and his girlfriend could start the course over again together.

i was actually supposed to be tripping with my roommate that night in celebration of completing this final document, but he got anxious and dropped earlier in the evening while i was out checking on our artist (the pencil page man) he thought he could help me out later that night.... RIGHT.... hahaha i just sold my tab and never bothered with that trash again.

and that was our GOOD group, the following year got even more messed up.

the absolute WEIRDEST thing about that document though... somehow a few dozen pages from that thing ended up in a box of random crap in my drummer's old jam room, in another city, 8 years later.

also - to be on topic - is anyone else stoked for Civilization 5 next week? i'll probably wait until the weekend to pick it up.

Deliciously addicting and much better than it's predecessor

I'm replaying Bioshock because I got kind of far through it a long while back and kind of lost interest in it. I'm enjoying it a lot more though and I definitely want to check out the sequel when I'm done.

Halo Reach.

It's certainly...nicer? But i feel like they added too much BS, making it less fun.

The first one, despite near universal acclaim, got really boring in the second half. I played the sequel, and I think they did a good job of taking the boring stuff (hacking, research) and making it a lot more fluid and fun. BioShock 2 was better than BioShock 1, IMO.

I haven't busted this out since 2006 and it shows. Although to be fair I first played it on PS2 and now I'm trying it on PC and the controls are taking some getting use to. I'm so use to driving with the WASD controls and navigating the camera with the mouse, however this game has decided that the mouse will fill in for the WASD controls and the camera just kind of does its own thing. I ended up giving up on a mission that involves chasing down someone on a bike (always the most infuriating missions) because I just could not control the bike properly.
