I've only tried Super Mario Land very briefly. From what I remember, the first level seemed a lot like Super Mario Bros! Was it more or less a remake for the GB?

Anyways, the last game I actually played was Zelda : Link's Awakening. I played it back then and I just couldn't put the gameboy away. Now, ~15 years later, it's still a lot of fun. There's a whole bunch of GB games that I haven't tried like some Zeldas, Golden Sun (I think it was), Castlevania : Aria of Sorrows and so on. They're next on my to-do list.

those are all GBA games, once the system became more on par with a portable SNES but still great. as for SML it's not a remake, the first level is familiar but after that it became it's own thing. the biggest problem was how blurry the scene would get any time you tried scrolling ahead.

i'm currently on my 3rd attempt to play through The Witcher. hate the swamps so much.

Ah, I meant to write GBA of course. It's a part of gaming that has pretty much gotten past me except for the two metroid games that came out, fusion and zero mission.

I played The Witcher for a while and can't remember why I stopped. I remember I spent a lot of time running back and forth in the swamp which was a pain in the ass, but when I stopped playing I was in the city. Possibly I ran into some kind of bug.

Played a bit of Pokemon Crystal on emulator yesterday.
Then hit a bit of Pokemon Gold on good old Gameboy Color today.

Fucking badass. This EV training thing is very serious business.

I haven't really bothered with EV's. Until my friends and I all get DS's, or weird tournaments start springing up, I'll stick to casual play.

I just got Skate 3, I'll be playing that. Found a Army game, you know with the little plastic soldiers that I really used to like so I'll be pulling the PSOne out.
