Hehe I'm sure you'll catch up eventually

No, I don't think it's a good thing to have a high score in doodle jump. What does that say about your life?

got an emulator for the SNES, so......

got it a few days ago when i saw a video by the Happy Video Game Nerd on this game and why it's such an underrated classic. love the music, really like the humorous dialogue and i really like how it's an rpg that isn't taking itself too seriously.

overall it's kicking some ass

and yes there is a Happy Video Game Nerd. instead of ripping on old, terrible games, he talks about underrated GOOD games on classic systems.

in truth i only played for a few minutes so i can't really dispel too much on it, but i've heard good things so i'll soon find out.

Happy Video Game Nerd also reviewed Rocket Knight Adventures, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Startropics and all the overlooked Capcom Disney games so he gets my seal of approval.

But he called Magical Quest average and I consider it one of the best Capcom/Disney games so points reducted for being dead wrong on that one.

Agreed, Magical Quest is brilliant I think. The game looks gorgeous, controls are good, levels are fun and it's the sort of game you can play through over and over. The different costumes and different areas give a lot of variation in gameplay so it stays fresh.

The only feasible complaint I can think of regarding Magical Quest is that Mickey moves a bit slow.

Antonio, try out Zelda: A Link to the Past if you haven't played it yet. It's a brilliant SNES game Chrono Trigger is fun, but a bit overrated I think. Everyone knows it and praises it, but Shadowrun (different RPG) f.ex is just as fun. If you want to look into slightly more obscure action rgps, there's also Soulblazer which I like. It's not as good quality-wise as Chrono Trigger, but it's still worth checking out!

I used to moderate an emulation site so I've played a lot of the old SNES classics. I still have my old SNES here, but .. sadly it doesn't work anymore. The comp is hooked up to the TV though and I got a controller so it's SNES time here whenever I want.

Haha, doodle jump is an excellent game. I mean it's very handy for boring situations like, on the train, bus etc. when you're alone. That's the only time's I really play it.

I'm still stuck in the ****ing Water Temple of in Ocarina of Time. I started the game in the middle of last year, so with all of my traveling and teaching and uni-ing I haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to gaming but I'm still pretty frustrated! Bah.
