i recently got caught up in Burnout: Paradise. great game! it's an open world like GTA, with all the classic burnout races. tons of great cars to unlock.
half the fun is just driving around at top speed and going over jumps or power-sliding around corners. lots of 'collectibles', like hundreds of billboards to smash through and gates to crash - get them all to unlock more cars. races, road rage events, and stunt runs start at intersections. there are also 'best time' records for every street to beat. tons to do. |

Ordered Skate 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour a couple of days ago .. I would be very happy if the bastards could send it already!
http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-...ox-artwork.jpg Until I get those, I'm playing GTA Episodes from Liberty City which is of course two expansions or continuating stories for GTA IV. One is The Lost and Damned which is about about a biker, John, from the Lost and Damned biker gang which is okay. The other is the Ballad of *** Tony in which you are *** Tony's business partner (aka "muscle"). Tony is a night club owner and a bit of a junkie, so it's vaguely about the nightlife in Liberty City. The big difference between them aside from story I would say is that the Ballad of *** Tony is a little more creative with the missions and so is a little more fun. You fly a lot more choppers for sure. |
any particular reason you chose World Tour (part4) over GH5?

and that's a sensible move in terms of waiting until the games drop in price. but don't hold your breath on a cheap gh:metallica. i settled at $45 used :( |
