Man, back in 2013-2016 I was obsessed with Game Grumps. I haven't really been a big gamer since I was a teenager, but I really liked the improv comedy aspect of those let's plays, almost reminded me of Mystery Science Theater but for video games and unscripted.

Not an era of my life I'm keen to revisit, but it filled a void at the time.

Well yeah, that's a pro as well of course. I'm not saying you keep the games forever in the hopes of them becoming a high dollar collectors item in the future, I'm saying that if you've got a physical copy - you complete the game, and you don't see yourself ever wanting to play it again, you could bring it to a place like Gamestop, trade it in for credit, and get a bit of a discount on a different game that you do want.

But with digital you get sales that beat trading in physical games by a mile.

That's not been my experience really. Usually, the 'sales prices' on PSN for a game are a bit marked up from the physical game's price you could snag on Amazon in used condition.

Depends on if it's a new AAA game and whether you want to take a risk on a lower quality used game.

I believe they used to do editing for the Grumps. I remember they came onboard right around the period where I stopped watching regularly.

I picked up Midnight Fight Express on game pass and I'm having a great time. Great gameplay and dope as **** soundtrack. Definitely a hidden gem.

Just picked up Fire Emblem Engage recently. Still in the beginning chapters but it's more of the same Fire Emblem I love so far just with heavy fan service.

I hop into a match of Fortnite from time to time and I've been messing with Star Trek Fleet Command first time I've really been hooked on a mobile game like this. I was watching Susu play it and decided to try it out. Effective marketing through Twitch Streamer paid off for them I refuse to buy stuff from their store though. They are completely full of themselves but they have whales that buy their 49.99 and 99.99 dollar packs.

Started playing Hogwarts Legacy last night since I preordered it and played for about 4 hours and didn't even realize it. Then played for another hour this morning. Game is great.
