My friend bought Borderlands 3 and I have a pet monkey that's black and pink.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

A 100 hrs into persona 5 and i feel the game needs to be longer so i can max out all my social skills. I find the persona games hook me in more than most rpgs and its all cus it has a modern day setting along with a vn dating sim element. I find modern settings refreshin cus most rpgs either have some old school fantasy setting or a sci fi one and frankly im a little tired of that look. I got tales of berseria and dragon age inquistion and i only played like 40 hrs on them and put them on reserve but every persona game ive played i passed. Honestly i was starting to think i just dont enjoy rpgs like i used to but thankfully its not that. Im just more selective nowadays

I was pretty into Persona 4 but then right as you get past the long prologue to the actual high school simulator portion of the game I just put the controller down for the day and then never played the game again until it had been too long and I basically needed to start a whole new game and that is a commitment. Sucks cause I love that kind of "do this thing in the morning, that thing in the afternoon, and this other thing in the evening to build up your stats" kind of game. That **** is crack and there are a million games that I'm guessing ripped that style straight off of Persona.

You right, it is crack. Thats why i need more time to do all that stuff in p5! Also persona games got that pokemon element where you collect personas which i always like in rpgs. I gotta say tho p5 is way better than 4 but the prologue is way longer. Once it opens up tho the story gets pretty interesting.

You should try p3. Maybe you'll like that one.

Before my computer got beered on I actually was starting a Persona 3 game. I still have Shin Megami Tensei 4 on 3DS though and while it doesn't have the high school simulator goodness the Pokemon element is strong and fantastic.

I think ive narrowed down my taste in rpgs to 3 things

-collecting a ton of fighters
-dating them
-Building up a home base

Usually if a game has 1 of these 3 elements its gonna hook me for awhile. If it has all 3 ive hit the jackpot. Persona hits 2 of these.

Suikoden? Suikoden 5 was my absolute **** when I still had a PS2 and it not working well on emulators legit makes me consider getting a real PS2 again. FF10 can kiss my ass in the face of Suikoden. I totally feel you though. It's a large part of why I'm so in love with Fire Emblem.

Suikoden hits 2 of those which is why i loved suikoden 2. I played 3 as well which was decent but i missed 4 and 5.

4 was my first so I have good memories of it and you got your own galleon but I've never heard good things about it and you could only have four characters in your squad and they were all on the same line, but Suikoden 5 was the real **** and your aunt was hot af with big boobies. And you got your own castle that got more epic as time went on and a million characters and you could have a party of six with two lines like god intended and my party was my real **** that I was totes about and this bitch was my party waifu cause she fukkin destroyed on the front line.
