I've been curious about this so I'll check it out since you seem to like it.

TBH old school games aren't "better" (if they are) because they're better, they're better because they have less ways to **** up. More memory, more graphics, more potential also means you have exponentially more ways to completely ruin a mechanic that might have been satisfactorily explored in a more low tech game that didn't have the option of adding more things to "flesh it out".

Damn Bat you're making me want to hook up my SNES and just play for hours.

Bruh I have USB SNES controllers now and it's all I do now. $10 and now I have an SNES with every single SNES game ever made. I'm now highly considering buying either a SEGA or an N64 USB controller. N64 cause obvious reasons and SEGA because the six buttons will open up MAME arcade emulation in all its glory.

I just need to finally get a USB SNES controller because that sounds amazing.
