I've heard of it and it'll be on my radar but you should check out the Etrian Odyssey series. I only learned about it a week ago but it's a whole modern series of 1st person party-based old school dungeon crawlers where you have to create a party from scratch and make your own maps on the bottom screen (putting in floors, walls, doors, and any number of other things of note). I've played a bit of the first game on the DS and it ****ing slays. Like, not even any story, just you exploring a dungeon until you find the end and you have to map out the whole thing or else you just won't know where you're going.

I had a GBA for years but most of that time I was out of work and by the time I got another job I was pretty burned out on most of my games, so having a 3DS atm is kind of a revelation. I don't have a phone worth surfing the "world wide web" with so bathroom breaks at work were just me killing time and thinking about whatever. Now I can slack off at work on the toilet while doing something truly productive and it's revolutionized my days. How the **** did I ever live without this?

Pocket sized handhelds >

As much as I love the Switch, there's no ****ing way that thing is ever going with me anywhere. Yet I still take my old scuffed up GBA with me on walks and ****.

Btw, if you plan on buying physical DS/3DS games, definitely look up a few fake-spotting tutorials. There's a fucktillion of bootleg carts out there that'll do nothing but glitch out all the time and kill your save files.

As much as I've played the GBA Fire Emblem games into the ground I'm still super bummed my Advance finally crapped out. I mean it still kinda works but it ****s up my save files and doesn't want to start half the time. I only hope Fire Emblem: Awakening can fill the void in my soul.

Oh btw I was just playing with the 3D up all the way for like 45 minutes and now MB looks 3D and I'm assuming I'll go blind after a month. Happen to anyone else?

Been replaying Pokemon Ruby on my old GBA the past few days. Great for taking on walks when the weather's nice. Nothing better than sitting on a bench by a lake and beating the **** out of a million Zubats.

Also, walking around with old games is apparently a great conversation starter.

The best thing a out FFT is the replayability and job class team comps you can build.

The worst thing is that I grind job points thr lamest eay possible to build my characters and end up out leveling the story content.

Im eestarting and trying to break old habits. Wish me luck.
