Resident Evil 4 is my favorite game of all time, i can't beleive it took you this long boo boo.
The game isn't as flat out scary, but balances being fun and tense at the same time a lot better then the others. You'll know exactly what i mean when your fighting multiple chainsaw bitches, or the nearly-invincible dudes at the army base later on. I played through this game 18 times, which is kinda ridiculous. |

Being able to take them all out while keeping Ashley out of harms way proves challenging. Anyway, I have to disagree with people who say it's not scary. Why? Just because it's more action oriented and because there's no flesh eating zombies? God forbid a game tries something different. I actually think the alien parasite scenario is even scarier than your traditional flesh eating zombies. And many of the scenarios are pretty damn thrilling like when you're trapped in a shed and you have to fight off a bunch of villagers and keep them from getting inside. That's classic George A. Romero stuff. I do think the music ques make it a bit too easy to spot enemies and it would have been scarrier if they just popped out at ya. But still, a lot of the enemies are really cool. Especially the bass battles and those chainsaw wielding chicks with the bandages on their faces. The environments are really great. And the music adds to the mood perfectly. Overal it's a fantastic game. Last edited by boo boo; 12-01-2009 at 11:55 PM. |

And can someone tell me what the second disc of RE4 is for?
Nobody seems to be capable of answering this question. No one. |

I thought the game was only 6 chapters long, and I'm already on the third chapter, and it hasn't taken me very long to get there. |

The castle section takes awhile, then it moves over to the other disc after you finish it. I'm not sure how much data the Gamecube discs can hold, that may be why they had to split it into two. I'm pretty sure the PS2 version only had one.

AKA crack in a box.
have you tried the 'Colonization' expansion? i picked up the Civ4 Complete Edition a while back, it's interesting. unlike the other Civ4 expansions this one plays quite differently, but i only tried it a few times as it was never enough to pull me away from the core game. |
