Huge featureless mazes with random encounters are a special brand of cruelty.

The last one actually wasn't nearly so bad when I ended up doing it again. Kinda linear tbh. But I'd been doing that **** for hours and was kind of out of it by that point. Key's girlfriend probably could have convinced me to join her cult.

Oh it's the ****. I love that an RPG doesn't make me feel like I'm on gamer cruise control. It's an ******* game though. Never heard of Landstalker.

I remember completing Kingsfield on PS1 with no guides back in the day. Single digit frame rate and few colors for the endless corridors other than gray. I must have been super humanly patient back then.

Got a Switch.

Everyone's telling me to get Smash or Zelda, but I got Travis Strikes Again instead. Because of course I did. Everything else can come later.

So my real laptop turns out to have a CPU problem that's gonna take several hundred dollars to fix and as it's only a $400 dollar computer I will wait till I get my tax return and get a gaming laptop. For some reason the first game I want to play when I get one is this. Looks like the core gameplay that makes the Elder Scrolls games awesome without all the extra stuff that's fun but make the games inconsistent and wonky. And there's something so immersive about sprite graphics that polygons can never replicate.
