GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas all had basically broken gameplay. Maybe the PC versions played better? I'm especially thinking about how, the way I remember it, getting involved in shootouts was a total mess. Like throwing a litter of kittens with uzi's into a tumble dryer.

Sure. It was janky and with all the cheat codes the game was a mess but i still enjoyed the setting and the story of the game. Didn't you?

I enjoyed wreaking havoc. Every time I tried to play the game "for real", it soured on me.
By "it" I mean GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas. Although by far most of that play time was spent in Vice.

I'd usually stick to doing car stunts and using a cheat code to dump tanks on people.

Started Darksiders 3 yesterday. Played it all day. It's hard but it's very good. Not as great as the first two but I like the direction they went. The combat is simple hack n slash but most importantly, it's fun. Some issues with lag but that's a well known issue so a patch will fix it. This one came out of nowhere because I didn't know they were releasing this until a week before it came out. Definitely recommend if you enjoyed the first two. Fury is a fantastic female protagonist with a great weapon of choice and awesome powers to unlock and I'm happy to see developers are using female protagonists a lot more. Nier Automata did it really well. Horizon Zero Dawn did as well. This one definitely gets put into that list with those two.

The bosses are a bit on the easy side but I'm not expecting them to be dark souls difficult as groups of enemies through the levels seems to be much more challenging. But it's rewarding all the same.

So the place I'm moving is going to have satellite internet. This hadn't occurred to me until today. I move in the next few days.

So I guess I can forget about playing FPS, moba, online games.

I'm sad.

Forget those games man. You dont need them. What you need is to settle down with a wife in Stardew valley. Maybe Maru, She black and into science and the stars and sht.

I do have a huge backlog of single player stuff to work on... Maybe I'll do that and then become a monk or some shit.

Likewise. Ive still yet to finish the Arkham series, Phantom pain and Nioh and a few others. Nioh is hard af. I thought i would enjoy a gud beating cause i did like Bloodborne but Nioh is way more sadistic and less interesting.
