I think I'm gonna get sloshed and play Fable Anniversary in a bit. Yes. That's the ticket.

I never played through San Andreas.

Should I do a playthrough after tons of GTA5? Is it just antiquated now?

It's definitely antiquated but my nostalgia begs you to play it. The CIA Area 51 nonsense with James Woods is some of the best video gaming of all-time.

I do feel like I should play it at some point. I'm a huge fan of the other 3D GTAs...

It blows 3, Vice City, and 4 out of the water, and even if 5 is objectively the better game I think San Andreas beats it in some ways due to its sheer adventurousness. In the same way 4 was almost a modernized version of 3 I'd say 5 was a modernized version of San Andreas.

King of Fighters 14 is pretty fun so far.
I'm happy with several things about it, although it's also a step back from KOF 13 in a few ways.

GOOD!
* Better AI than probably any previous KOF game. Actually gives me trouble on the highest setting but doesn't feel like a cheap, calculating computer to fight against. The AI just makes sure to consistently punish major blunders very hard, so you have to concentrate when playing on level 5. I stay on difficulty level 4 for now, but I'm very happy there's a higher level for when I get better at the game.
* Good single player game modes. Time attack is basically also a really tough survival mode and it's a blast!
* Lots and lots of brand new characters, most of which have really interesting and fun move sets. This is a major point in the game's favor.
* Some interesting game system changes that both give you tactical options while also making the game less obtuse and easier to learn than the previous several games in the series.
* A huge cast of playable characters right out of the box (50+), where pretty much all of them are well designed in terms of gameplay. None of the move sets feel half-assed or like copies of another character. Feels very generous, which is more than can be said about most other modern fighting games.
* The selection of returning characters is a nice mix of old favorites, newer faces and obscure picks.

BAD!
* Kinda mediocre graphics. SNK just aren't good at 3D artwork. Some things look nice enough, some kinda derpy.
* Doesn't run perfectly on my PC no matter what settings I tweak.
* New character designs are kinda mostly not super great.
* The music is only pretty alright. Gets the job done.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. If only someone on MB would buy it on PC and get online...

OK. You sold me, thanks.

I've played way too much of the others to skip such a huge installment.
