Yep. It would be nice if they (and Nintendo with their NES and SNES Classics) dropped the price more in the $50-$60 range rather than $80. I mean the only people who are going to buy it in any numbers are going to be people who know about emulators so maybe it's a sound business practice to make it super affordable.

Wasn't expecting Wild ARMs (and shame on wiki for not correctly capitalizing the acronym ARMs). One of my favorite JRPGs. I have a huge soft spot for the whole series.

FF7 is an essential inclusion.

But Tekken 3? And ****ing Ridge Racer? I love Tekken, but come on. Fighting and racing games on the PSX play like absolute **** in hindsight, and everyone knows it. Just don't even bother.

Either RE2 or Nemesis better be on the final roster. And Silent Hill. And Parasite ****ing Eve. Actually, just Parasite Eve would be fine.

Oh, and also Dino Crisis 2, since it's held up extremely well over the years. Best PSX shooter by a very wide margin. Get that **** in there, Sony.

I doubt they'll shell out the $ to license any WWE or NBA titles.

I imagine the first three or at least two Resident Evils will be there. Silent Hill should be a lock, and Dino Crisis would be nice. And FF 7, 8, and 9. I'll be miffed if 8 isn't there. **** the haters. Awesome game. And Suikoden 2. And Valkyrie Profile.

DC2 was soooo much better than the first game. I've completed it at least twice. The weapon shop system also somehow made it a lot more fun.

Going with a broad definition of "shooter", I'd suggest that you also give these a go, as they're some of my favourite PSX shooters:

Gungage (only JP and EU release)
G-Darius
Danger Girl
Descent 1 and 2

I don't foresee more than 1 of each franchise. So since FF7 has already been announced, 8, 9 or Tactics are probably in the crapper. Some incarnation of 'Twisted Metal' had better make the list.

That no one ever played? I've literally never met anyone IRL who has played GTA 1 or 2.
