Fire Emblem: Awakening is a top 3 reason why I want a 3DS. My broken GBA is a top reason I'd be willing to settle for just a DS as 3DS isn't backwards compatible with my GBA Fire Emblems.

But I've never finished it for that reason, and I get so attached to certain characters that I refuse to go on if one dies and the game gets hard enough that it's tough to win without losing somebody so I always end up quitting lol

Been playing Mahjong World Contest on Steam.
I've always been interested in trying out different genres. This game was very cheap and seemed well made, so I gave it a chance. It's surprisingly interesting and challenging. A really good game to play on a Sunday morning with a coffee mug in one hand. Took me a few games to really grasp the rules. It's only gotten more interesting with each game. There are many tiers of challlenges, so I think I'm going to reach the limits of my intelligence well before the last stage. I'm quite interested in finding more of these unassuming games that get no respect from "real gamers". Who knows, maybe there's even some really good hidden object games out there? |

Got a copy of Suikoden IV for two bucks. Seems really fun so far. The combat is very fast and smooth for a turn based game.

Turn-based JRPG's are comfort food. I can always throw one on and lose myself in grinding.
