TFW you've finished Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum and now it's time to replay City. The amount of Batman I've imbibed in the past few weeks, both in game and comic form, makes my rock hard heart throb. Now I just need to figure out if I start a new game or go for new game+. I've already got all the Riddler trophies in my old game which I'd want to do again, but I also want to play with the Batman Beyond skin.

Ayeeee my dude. I've been recommending this game since it came out on early access. Glad to see you playing it.

Well my decision was made for me as apparently I deleted City and all the DLC from my 360 to make room. Now I got it all back but no save games so I'll just have to play the regular game... and then replay it on new game+. I feel so bad I could cheer.

Been playing Tenchu: Fatal Shadows since I bought it. Holy **** is it great. Hard, but (mostly) fair, and a fucktillion items to play around with (favorite so far is the poison onigiri, which makes whoever eats it puke ). Brutal and satisfying stealth kills, constant tension since you don't get checkpoints, and fun lateral mobility with a grappling hook that can latch on to most surfaces. The combat is touchy and unpredictable, but that's fine, since the main chars aren't supposed to be Kratos, and just rushing blindly into a group of enemies would historically be the supidest ****ing thing a ninja could do.

Combat is definitely something to avoid, but the fun is in being careful and never getting seen anyway. The boss battles aren't so hard once you figure out a couple of helpful tricks.

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven on PS2 is also great, but waaaaay harder.

I'm getting pretty good at it. I may or may not shout "Death from above, muthafuka!" every time I roll Rin off of a roof right onto someone's head and then do her weird aerial skull shattering pro-wrestling stealth kill.

Edit: Oh, also, I lol'd pretty hard when I learned that you can skip the boss fight with that pervy blind masseuse guy, and just stab him in the dick through the floor from the basement.

Are you kidding? I didn't know you could do that. Maybe I should fire it up again one of these days soon. It's been a few years since I last played through it.

Also, one fateful day, I might go on a ramble about why Shinobidy: Way of the Ninja (also on the PS2) is both a broken mess and one of my top 5 favourite games on the entire platform.

"Oh, shinobidy."

We never got Shinobido over here in the states, even though we did get all of the Way of the Samurai games by the same devs (Acquire), and even the spin-off Samurai Western.

Yeah, if you hit the attack button right as you're falling onto someone, Rin flips them around and smashes their skull into the ground. Every time I get some loser henchman with it, I'm like "Oh SHIIIIT, YOU JUST GOT ****ED BOI!"

And for the masseuse thing, when you sneak into his house, as soon as you leave that little kitchen, there's a brown sliding door across the foyer with a guard that leads to the basement and triggers a cutscene.

I should stop typing while I eat. Or stop eating while I type.

I've done the falling attack sometimes. Makes you feel really stupid when you miss and land right in front of a guard instead. But if you can't be a fancy ninja, what's even the point?
