Why dont you be a real nerd and make your own fantasy name....

I've played a lot of computer RPG's, but I always used to give my characters either names after actors and musicians or fictional characters, or goofy names (like naming a barbarian Mr Breakstuff).

My favourite RPG character memory was in Realms of Arkania 3 where I had a warrior named Aaron the Slayer, who ironically couldn't hit a damn thing with his sword. He was the least effective in combat out of a team of 6. It was unintentional and a result of the character creation and stat system being complicated in those games, but so funny that I kept him around.

Ran through the PS2 reboot of Shinobi. Now it's time for Nightshade on hard.

I also ****ed with Scarface: The World is Yours awhile back, one of my faves back in the day. Still kicks the **** out of SanAn and Vice City. It's kind of depressing how little love it gets, when the devs bust their balls so hard to nail everything about it. Great rendering of late 70s early 80s Miami, awesome (and huge) soundtrack, and pretty much every celebrity ever contributed to the voice acting.

I know I said I was going to check out Divinity Original Sin, and I plan on it but for now I'm playing Rage of Mages:

It's very similar graphically and play style wise as Warcraft II, but it's an RPG, so you create a character and theirs a story and you complete quests. It's pretty simple and straight forward which I am digging at the moment as I don't have a ton of time to plays games these days.

It's not very expensive on GOG.
