The only really difficult thing about OoT is finding that one hole in the floor of the central tower of the water dungeon that everyone misses. ;)
I used a guide on the water temple because **** that. All the other temples are great tho.
Tbh, when I was a kid playing it for the first time, I had more trouble with the forest temple.
I thought I was hot **** after stomping King K Rool and smashing Bowser. Had no idea what to do in a free roam game where I had to figure out where to go on my own. |
The forest temple can turn you around so quickly. I got lost so many times. I think my favorite is the shadow temple.
Oh man, the bottom of the well/shadow temple was like next level spookiness for baby Ori. I was legit scared of that weird fleshy guy that iirc you have to beat to get the lens of truth. Like, what the **** even was that guy?
Like, if I'd had a Playstation in those days, and played Silent Hill, I would have **** my pants in that boss fight where you have to let the monster get close and prepare to eat you before attacking. |
The one where the hands come out of the ground? Yeah that **** is crazy. I just love the feeling of that temple. Just oozes with spookyness. The spirit temple is also really good.
I always wondered why the devs put that clip of the witches from the spirit temple attacking you and that gerudo chick after the title screen cinematic. Cool, but still kinda random.
I don't question it because it gives the game charm. It's one of the best games ever made. Easily.
I wish i remembered more of it. Havent played OoT since it was new
**** that water temple though. I had the fungeon guide book. I miss the days of buying strat guides with jrpgs ;( stupid internet |
It's been a while since I played it for the first time. I've just watched so many speedrunners speedrun it so it's pretty fresh in my mind.
