I know doing one stupid thing is something that can result in getting chased by the army in all of the GTA games but it's so much more prevalent in 5 that it gets irritating. And your health is much lower than in previous games so not only are you getting chased more often but getting killed more often and more quickly as well. I'm pretty sure this was meant to make sure the game would still be challenging in multiplayer and that hurts singleplayer a bit.
I can definitely see that though I've never personally experienced it. I'm probably coincidentally planning to do a full GTA V playthrough once I finish up Shadow of War. I want to give it another shot and since i have a better PC, maybe I'll enjoy it more. It's possible. Plus, I'd love to experience the story for myself. I still remember using the motorcycles in Saints Row The Third and just zipping through highways left and right. I know I'd love the huge map of GTA V for much of the same reason I'm sure.

The car physics in GTA 5 are also kind of unforgiving. Try doing a handbrake slide at max speed even with a maxed out driving stat and you will probably shoot way past your target and do at least a 180. You really have to watch how you're driving in a way that you simply don't in Saints Row. But the bikes are far more maneuverable and damn do you feel good driving one after driving mostly cars.

I don't hate the car physics though. They're a bitch at first but when I switched to Saints Row 4 the physics honestly felt kinda ****, like cars had no actual weight to them. It takes some getting used to and the handbrake will always feel like a slingshot but it's nice when you can actually get a feel for driving when maxing out your driving stat doesn't just make it easy.

I got a pretty good lesson on the driving mechanics in GTA IV, so I can imagine GTA V shouldn't be too much different. Though I imagine it's far easier than GTA IV because man, those car mechanics sucked ass. It was so hard to steer when you get to higher speeds because apparently they want to really give you the impression that you're going fast enough to where your car doesn't control right. But meh. Took some getting used to.

Haven't played IV since it came out so I don't even remember the car physics.

They were clunky. You would have to constantly keep pretty left and right in order to keep your car from drifting off too far since any movements moved your car in a weird way. I just remember them being hard to control though I hear it's also easy to get used to GTA V's car mechanics.

Nah it's addictive for hours. I can spend as much time as I need trying to get a mile down the street from the hospital I just came from but holy **** this guy just bumped me on the street bring out the rocket launcher and ten minutes later I'm at the hospital again. All day all night.

Hell yeah. I'm sure I'm gonna spend many hours on GTA V. I'm just itching for a game like that since I've nearly finished Shadow of War.
