Is it because I shat on Diablo II?

Seriously though. I love lots of games. It's just amazing how little of a cross section there is with MB's taste in games. Like I said elsewhere: You guys are such normies when it comes to games.

Growing up in the Nes/N64 era hardly counts as normie. Not my fault you didn't have a good childhood.

You seem like the kinda guy who only cares about mechanics because you can't connect with anything else tbh.

Nintendo is the mainstream god of gaming. Look up gaming channels on Youtube and it's ****ing Zelda this and Mario that everywhere.

If Nintendo fans are Christians, I'm like a follower of Judaism.

You seem like the kind of guy who takes that perspective because you don't understand why I like why I like. Mechanics aren't worth anything if they don't make you experience something.

That wasn't even my point tho. Youtube wasn't around back then so everything I was playing was a new experience. Your logic could work for any system that does well on twitch and youtube. Sure it's popular nowadays but I'm not talking about nowadays. Experiencing those games back in their prime was some of the best experiences I had as a kid and it turned me into the gamer I am today. Obviously I'm not throwing ahade at you but the use of your term makes no sense when talking about individual experiences.

I'm just joking anyways.
It's just that when it has seemingly become the prevailing idea in here that I hate everything, that kind of annoys me. Every time I do mention games I like, there's no response, so all people can remember is the stuff I bitched about.

Most of the games that are talked about in here are games that don't really interest me much. It feels like if everyone was just talking about super hero movies in the movie thread. But it's just preferences, of course.

I can't do much about that except not talk about games at all, really ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey I bought Armored Core 4 in perfectly good faith and I just have to get around to playing more than five minutes of it. I've bought way too many games recently.

I won't put you on ignore if you end up not liking it, but I might give you a stern look for a brief moment.

I love that series, but as with (imo) most great games, it's kind of an "olives" situation.

It definitely seems like the kind of non-flashy game that could go under the radar and would go on my long-term shelf of "will play someday" games if some random weirdo didn't dicksuck it. But I also really do want a cool mech game to play cause mechs are the ****.
