It's a better game.

If you can afford it get both! The mechanics of the 2nd were steamlined but I really enjoyed the combat in the first.. Kinda like vanilla wow vs modern wow. Polished doesnt mean better, it just made the game way more accessible and solved some frustrations.

Hit me up if you guys want to get in on some multiplayer.. Also, there is a nice mod community to have fun with.

Fucking love this game. The scene where Big Boss throws Naked Snake over the wobbly bridge, or when you climb the staircase to heaven, or when Volgin deploys a nuke and blames The Boss, fucking bastard. Or when Snake meets Eva for the first time and stares at her tits. That'd be every man's reaction Kojima always thinks realistically. Gooooooood i fucking love Metal Gear. This is probably the greatest one in the series.

Divinity 2 multiplayer? Hell yeah

Well definitely talk to me about Divinity 1 whenever you want. I've put a lot of time into it and I absolutely loves it. Can't wait until you start Div 2 because if you already love 1, you're in for a real treat with 2. Just think 1 but multiplied by like.. 10.

Kii did you play Tactician? I felt like it was significantly less punishing in 2, but that could just be cause I had no idea how to take full advantage of the game mechanics when I started with 1.

I really need to go back and do a no save scum DOS2 run. Not sure if I'm ready for tactician though. I replayed the first act like three times, once with brother, once with 4man, once solo. My solo game is in act 2 and I just am not attached to my save any more...

I didn't really notice it being too less punishing but I know what you mean. I think I had very few difficulties in combat on Div2 but that's mostly because I had done abother playthrough on my old PC but didn't get very far so I had familiarity on my side.

I had this same thing happen. Do what I did and just start again but instead, try to be a bit different with your party members. I ended up with a dwarf wizard and it was awesome.
