Definitely. And not to mention that pre rendered games up to the PSX and N64 era have aged way better than the ones that tried to go full polygon. Fear Effect makes Silent Hill look like someone ate a bunch of jagged pieces of plastic and then shat them out in a box filled with smoke (still love Silent Hill, but wow, everything except for the pre rendered cutscenes looks like ass, especially that run animation).

And even in the PS2/Xbox/Cube gen, when fully polygonal environments became pretty damn beautiful, Silent Hill 2 and Onimusha 2 still look pretty damn good. Especially considering how early SH2 was in the PS2's life.

Twisted metal 2 also looked like ass but goddamn did i put hundreds of hours into that game.

I've been playing nothing but GTA IV, and Metal Gear 2. Bringing it back old school. Buying a PlayStation 3 was a very wise investment.

You are an illegal immigrant piece of ****. GTA IV is why I switched to Saints Row. San Andreas was massive and ridiculous and took the series to a logical extreme that could never have been imagined or even logical with GTA 3. GTA 4 just remade 3 with a better story and more **** to do. It took itself far too seriously and gave us a story that was good for a video game but it was still a ****ing video game-grade story. **** that. Give me the absurd grandeur of San Andreas and Saints Row 2, 3, and 4.

Im assuming you're getting it through ps plus, no? I had a friend on the psn who let me borrow his account and i downloaded a ton of games from him. Maybe you could find a friend like that to get some games.

Ok first of all Saints Row fucking sucks. Every single one of them. GTA 4's gameplay still holds up phenomenally. I think the story is the darkest story GTA's ever made and I appreciate that tonal change. So anyway you slice it, you can suck a veiny one.

In many ways SR3 and 4 had their issues, but they both took the series in the direction they absolutely should have gone. Steelport was an inferior city to Stillwater, and the plots became secondary to the nonsense, but the nonsense was absolutely what set Saints Row 2, 3, and 4 apart from GTA and made it a series that was more than just a clone. SR3 was a cluster**** of nonsensical bull**** that made the spectacle of the game something to be marveled at in a way that the series never had accomplished before. And SR4 was art in its stupidity.
