CIv 5 goty edition for 12$ .. I'd get it, if I dodn't have over 1000 hours on steam, playing this magnificent crack of a game. Because feel warned - it is addictive. "Just one more turn" and you suddenly realize it's not Saturday, it's Wednesday night.

To me it's not that it's bad .. but it seems incomplete, just like 5 was without the 2 major addons. 6 got the first recently, which included a lot of welcome changes, but the game is still not "there" imo. Also, I REFUSE to call it better and will keep refusing until they bring back the god damned building queue. After so many patches, changes etc I now believe this is a conscious decision to make the game last longer, because of all the extra clicking you have to do. |

Civ VI + Civ VI R&F - too expensive for amount of content and lack of AI efficiently but has a great design and could be as good as V but a few patches.
Civ V - cheap af with not as many mechanics as Civ VI but is a better game overall and you can just mod it anyway. - Civ V modded ez -

How about civ 4 with the fall from heaven 2 mod ? For years I was waiting for them to bring it to civ 5, apparently it couldn't be done.
But man, back in the days of civ 4, there was nothing better. It was like someone transplanted the golden classic Master of Magic into civ4, but added even more features. I remember fondly marching my armies of fireball tossing (special magical promotion) adamantium golems, led by a dwarwen hero with a magic hammer, how they conquered neighboring kingdoms, slayed dragons etc... Google it. |

Replaying Raw Danger, and also suffering through Nightshade on hard. Life is good.

I was aware of the tank controls and resource management when I started Resident Evil 1, but I did not account for the stress of not being able to fear quit cause you only have one ribbon with two uses left and you can't be a little bitch when you just saved twenty minutes ago and haven't done anything of note but you still don't want to have to redo that ****. Good times.
