VC's brilliant isn't it? Make a few more games available that i haven't played properly (roms don't count) like Earthbound and it's genius. I'm pissed off i probs won't get to play it much as i'd want to as i'll be in Uni at the time and my Bro has the Wii. It looks delicious, Nintendo immature my arse. |

I love how people exagerate it's limitations.
It's at least twice as powerful as the Gamecubes as believe, it dosen't show so much in the games now because the hardware is still young. Most consoles don't really show how powerful they are until later on. Just compare the first Genesis games to the ones that came out later in the consoles life, you see a big difference. Hell compare the earlier and later games for PS2. People saying The Wii has Game Boy Advance graphics give me a good chuckle. And despite what everyone says Brawl dosen't look exactly like Melee. The visuals for stages like lylat cruise, port town and halberd are amazing. Those stages look WAAAAAAAAAAY better than anything on Melee. |

I never understood what "twice as powerful as the gamecube" even equals..
Don't get me wrong, i love the wii(at least up until this years e3 conference) but a lot of the games on gamecube still look better then those on a lot of wii titles, which can't be said for the competition. Why didn't Nintendo not just make it on the same level as the 360 and charge 50$ more for the console? Would have still sold better then the competition |

Maybe because they wanted to make a cheaper console? How f*cking hard a concept is that? Nintendo has always had the tradition of selling their consoles at relatively cheap prices, why should they change that just because the competition is releasing even more expensive hardware?
Heres a thought, not all gamers are f*cking millionaires. 300 for a console is goddamn f*cking ridiculous. And that's way too much of a leap for Nintendo fans. People from lower/working class backgrounds (like me) like to play video games too. They can't all afford a 360 or PS3 and if anything the Wii is the one thing they can afford. I f*cking hate people who don't even consider this and think games is something exclusive to an elite bunch of spoiled rich assh*les who don't mind wasting tons of money on games just to say they suck. I don't think it would have sold just as well if it were more expensive, part of what has made it such a success is how it has appealed to people who don't normally play console games. I'm telling you, you're gonna see an improvement in the Wii's graphics over time, it's about as powerful as the first Xbox, sure you can't tell that now, but thats what I'm saying, early games always underestimate the consoles true power. This has been true for practically every console. It has a lot to do with developers learning how to cope with the new hardware. Is it ever gonna reach the level of other next gen consoles? No. But I really don't care. |

The Xbox 360 arcade is the cheapest console available. At 200$ you get a good graphical machine, xbox live and an already impressive library. Is 50$ really that big of a leap? People of the lower working class bought the ps2. The ps1 and ps2 were both 300$ at launch, and were the best selling consoles of both those generations. |

Your last one is false. Money doesn't have to be earned. I take it from jars. ROBBERY BUDDY.
But yeah, I agree with all of these pretty much, especially 99. Tekken has some damn technical combos that are annoying as ****. Not Dragonball Z, though, <3 that game.

Inorite? But usually I mess up in the middle, curse a lot, slam my controller and slap a ho. Not a very good release, but it proves how damn frustrating they are. >=/
Tekken comes up with ones that are flat out crazy, like kick, punch, guard, left right up at the same ****ing time, and I just don't have the attention span to pull it off. I don't play Mortal Kombat, so I can't really judge it.
