Little brothers are good for mentoring, but older brothers are the best for playing games with Me and and my older brother used to face off in THPS4 all the time! Funnily enough, I was better at vert and he was better at street.

My siblings just play Wii Fit, We Ski, or fool around with the Everybody Votes Channel and Mii Channel.
"Guys you've been on all day, I want to play some Call Of Duty" "Wait! I have to finish this skiing challenge!"

I'm the younger one, but my older bro acts like a younger one.
Like when I play zelda, he screams at me what I'm supposed to do next. I say to him, "dude, half the fun of Zelda games is figuring out how to solve a problem." Then he grunts loudly and mouths that I'm being a jerk. =\

62: GameDaily Just replace "independent" with "retarded". It's without a doubt the most chronically wrong video game website on the web. Well, at least next to OldWizard. Their lists are about as credible and meaningful as anything E! puts out on a regular basis. GameDaily probably gives the shortest video game reviews known to man. And yet they have mastered the art of cramming in more wrongness in 3 sentence paragraphs than anyone else in history. Their lists are awful, their reviews are awful, their puns are ghastly and their statements are awfully inconsistant, they have become so obsessed with appearing to be strongly opinionated that it's never clear what games they actually like. It's like every game they give a good review to (if you can all them that), a couple of months later "they've grown out of it" and anyone who still likes said game is an immature fanboy. Further proving my theory that the site is run by ADHD afflicted douchebags. You're probably wondering why I haven't given any specific examples of their suckitude. But do I really need to? Just go there (if you dare), find any of their numerous sh*tty lists, and you'll be convinced in 10 seconds that this site is completely run by monkeys. Unless you're one of the editors (in which case you're probably throwing your sh*t at the monitor as we speak) there's no way you won't agree. Last edited by boo boo; 09-28-2009 at 07:19 AM. |

Couldn't agree more with you on that one. I remember reading back that you mentioned the more... wacky sports game, do you remember a Sega channel game it was like a hockey game where the players were skeletons and there were like... shark fins that swam through the ice and if you had the misfortune to skate over them you'd be tripped. Can't for the life of me remember what the game was called though, but this is going back a ways to when I was a wee lad. Also just out of curiosity, do you watch Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's reviews on Thescapist?

You're talking about Mutant League Hockey.
And yeah I've seen them, too "british" for my tastes. His Halo 3 review as funny, but mostly he's just another "look how defiant I am" type. A good game is a good game, people shouldn't let massive popularity cloud their judgement. |
