You know what pisses me off? How the Wii is treated as a ****ty/kiddy system and the really good games come out for only the PS3/Xbox 360. I don't think its controllers have a whole hell of a lot to do with it either, seeing as they make a lot of the the less-hardcore games for all systems.

What?
It's a FACT that the Wii has more exclusives, that's not even an argument. |

Well this isn't part of my list (which I'm just making up as I go) but let's consider this an honorable mention.
101: Gratuitous overuse of the word "Fanboy" For gamers especially. There needs to be more of a line given to distinguish fans and actual fanboys. A Nintendo fan: Prefers the Wii to 360 and PS3 and will give his reasoning. A Nintendo fanboy: Has absolutely nothing positive to say about Sony or Microsoft, has a strong disrespect for third party companies and still holds a grudge against Sega as if he just caught Sonic the Hedgehog f*cking his mom. |

there's also a reason why the wii has built itself a less that positive reputation among less than casual gamers, let's take a look at the new releases for just this week... Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? Make The Grade, Backyard NFL Football '09, Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp, Build-A-Bear Workshop: A Friend Fur All Seasons, Carnival Games: Mini Golf, Celebrity Sports Showdown Circus Games, Dancing with the Stars: We Dance!, Disney Sing It, Disney Sing It Microphone Bundle, Disney Th!nk Fast, High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance!, Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon Monopoly, The Naked Brothers Band: The Video Game, Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2, Pet Pals: Animal Doctor, Petz Rescue: Wildlife Vet, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, SpongeBob SquarePants Featuring NickToons: Globs of Doom, Wii Music i think it's safe to say most of that list is either poop or for kids. spyro and spiderman are usually safe bets, monopoly is fun but why not just use the actual board? wii music might be interesting but i'm pretty sure i'd rather play rockband 2. as for the rest... YAY 3rd party 'games' . |

Wii is the choice console for younger gamers and their parents due to it's greater quanitity of family friendly games. I have even seen some old retirement homes where they have a Wii because Wii Sports is such a hit with the old folks. The Wii is creating a new interest in video games among a lot of people that were never interested in video games before. And yeah, that's a good thing. |
