It's weird with Peter Kay, because his stand up is decidedly average. Yet 'Phoenix Nights' was bloody brilliant and 'Max And Paddy' had it's moments too.

glad you pointed that out, ofcourse, he made that role.
as for Dennis Leary you can't have seen much Hicks and/or Leary otherwise you'd be agreeing with me. Obviously the man had some original skits (funny ones too)... anyone else i'd let it slide but you can't **** around with Hicks' legacy. not on |

I've seen everything both Hicks and Leary have put out.
Apart from the jogging/smoking thing their material is nothing alike.
