The Office
There seems enough of a fanbase here to warrant a thread, and I'm a huge fan of the American version. Feel free to discuss the best show on television right now! I'll start: I think The Office has constantly evolved since it first came on the air. Just look at how much it's changed from season one to season four. I really think that they hit their peak in season two with the humor being at its best and the "JAM" moments giving it the backbone it needed to carry on throughout the season. Season four has been really disappointing for me, especially since the writer's strike. Dinner Party and Did I Stutter? were truly where the show hit rock bottom. I think they made a pretty good comeback with the season finale, however. Hopefully, season five will prove to be worth the wait. |

The British version is even better. Needless to say though, this one is fantastic.

There were some okay episodes near the end of the season (like most shows), but the dinner party was imo the best one.
It was Janet's spotlight. She did freakin brilliant. And that song stuck in my head for 3 weeks. It was basically about a bad relationship, and anyone who've been through one would totally get it. |

Did I stutter was my least favorite, I agree. But dinner party was one of the best episodes from season 4. The setting wasn't at the familiar environment of "the office" and that might have thrown people off, but Jan and Michaels dysfunctional, and hostile relationship was shown to the fullest extent, and it was hilarious. The best episode of all, was "The Injury" when Michael burns his foot on his "George Foreman" grill, and Dwight is loopy all day because he got a concussion trying to "save" Michael. Overall, its just an excellent show.
