Anyone else like the films? They're kinda'...Bleak. Not very cheery stuff. But I love the whole feel of them and you just can't stop watching!

The first one is a great head f uck and belies it's low budget while the second has some interesting ideas but the budget was'nt big enough to compliment the ideas, so it dissapeared up it's own jacksy sometimes. The third (when in fact it is a prequel) tried to explain the whole theory but again was let down by it's lack of budget. I like lots of low budget films but with a subject as expansive as The Cube, a bigger budget would have definitely helped.

Yah, the acting is crappy after the first one as well. The execution (Filming, screenwriting etc) wasn't as. I think they focused too much on imagery budget-wise, and ended up falling too far short in other areas. I haven't seen Zero tbh.
