My favourite era would probably be the late 70s with Tom Baker as the Doctor and also because Douglas Adams was writing it at the time.
I like the Jon Pertwee era a lot too mainly because the Brigadier was my favourite character (I met him too )
I really like Patrick Troughton's version of the Doctor but most of his stories have been lost , if i'd seen more it would probably be him.
And William Hartnell's Doctor works really well in the novels.
And Peter Davison was the first doctor I remember watching

So to answer your question , I have no idea
