Have you ever ? (rock, iggy pop, tune, show, bands)

Found a band you love from a Film or TV ? I can't say that it happens to me often but I recently found a band I loved at a live show and then came home and heard the band on TV in the trailer for the new Owen Wilson film "Drillbit Taylor" the song was by the band The Shys and it was funny to have the song in my head from the show come home and hear it as the backround music of the movie trailer. I found out later the song is called "Call In The Cavalry" its a really rocking tune from a great band.

Any new bands out there I should check out ?
