I used to love Dexter, but found that each season got worse. Seasons 1 and 2 were the best, and then the show added more drama and extenders that the show just does not feel the same. I hope season 7 is better, as the ending to season 6 finally made a leap forward. Let's just hope. Until then, I will have to do with other TV shows.

^ What this guy said, sans the part about season 6 ending because I gave up watching during episode 6. The first season as great, and the second seasons was spectacular. Season three was the first ball drop with a short return to glory with season four, only to return to crap and remain so for some time. Season 6 was really depressing. It has very interesting villains and the other elements were all there, yet the writing was just completely under par.

This show is amazing I only find season 5 on a a little low side but all other seasons are just great and as the news is coming there are still two more season left to come in Dexter

The middle of season 7 annoyed me so much. As much as I like Yvonne Strahovski, I didn't like her paired up with Dexter. The best parts of the season were the beginning and the very end showing Deb and Dexter's relationship growing stronger. That's all I will say for now don't want to spoiler too much for others that haven't seen the season finale of the 7th season yet.

season 3 wasn't the trinity killer. That was four I believe.

Three was with Hector something. the attorney that he took under his wing.
