Steal This Film
Has anyone seen any of the "Steal This Film" movies? They are really good and it is one of my favorite documentaries. Not to mention, it is free.

I have to say I have not heard about these at all and they are free? Divulge young man!

If you use torrent clients then you can get the movie well seeded at the pirate bay for free legally because it is an independent film that wants to be distributed freely.
It is really good stuff though. It really strengthened my views on the issue of intellectual property. Personally 2 was better, but if you just want some good quick facts to support filesharing, then 1 is your best bet. Both of them are good and 1 is hilarious because of the clips they integrate. |

It is. Especially the second one, as I said before. The first one presents the usual arguments to support filesharing, and also gives some newer ones, which I think are pretty useful.
I was thinking about putting a copy of it on a disk and giving it to my Website Design teacher because the only way he could argue against the "Well I wouldn't buy the album anyway" argument was to say, "but it is still stealing." The arguments against filesharing are so illogical and shallow that it is almost not worth arguing with people about it. |
