Default The Wire

any fans of the TV show?

Best thing on tv right now, its an HBO cop drama. Definitely check it out, if you haven't already.

The show is on its last season, so get to downloading the torrents >: [

I have heard so many good things about this show. However with dvd boxsets still yet to be watched of:

24
THE SOPRANOS
ROME
THE HUNGER

It's a programme I will have to put on hold for now.

skip 24 and Rome, neither is great. The Wire is leagues ahead of them both, save 24 for when your extremely bored.

I enjoy 24. They do tend to follow the same format each season now, but it is quite a consistent show. Don't know if I'll bother with the upcoming season though.

24 gets on my nerves can't stand it but I did watch the last season of The Wire.....I've been trying to get into this season but I don't know about this whole focus on the newspaper journalists thing. I haven't made it through the first episode of this season yet but I have the episodes on demand so one sunday, I'll sit and watch all the episodes back to back.

the wire is the sickest show on television right now. barring none.
"If you disagree...I will fight you." -Ron Burgundy on the sound track to the movie.

What dont you like about it?

I enjoy it more then the other focuses, like the dock in season 2, or the school system etc.

for some strange reason I really loved the school system from last season.....I just don't care about that focus this season.....I've watched three episodes so far and it just doesn't interest me. I'm going to finish up the rest of the season for everything else though.

i should check it out
i used to love 24 a lot more than i do now
i think its mainly keifer sutherland that bothers me
i just dont like how he acts in his old age
