I've been watching House since it started. Now i download each episode of the new season a day after it airs. 7 years and it's still awesome.
As for Fringe, yeah, it's confusing if one doesn't watch it from the very beginning. J.J. Abrams, who also co created Lost, said it would have a much easier to follow plot than Lost though.
And i hated Lost for some reason, without even watching it.
