The Dave Atell show is called Insomniac or something along those lines. I just looked it up it's called Insomniac with Dave Attell. I agree with you on Monk, Scrubs and NCIS but only the LA version. I don't like the regular version too much. It's just NCIS not Navy NCIS. that would be like saying navy naval criminal investigation squad or w/e it really means.

Apparently Ive posted in this thread before...really can't remember doing that, so I'm gonna do this again.
Rome Best historical drama I've ever seen. I, Claudius and Spartacus were pretty cool, sure, but the ultra-realistic, down-to-earth qualities really set this show apart for me. Band Of Brothers Well, would be the best if it weren't for this. I don't know what it was about the Pacific, it just never really sparked off the way this did for me, and I didn't find myself spending practically a whole summer watching that as I did with this. Dirt I never thought it'd be possible for me to be sympathetic to the characters of a tabloid editor and a paparazzi photographer until I watched this. Very underrated show this. Talking of underrated... Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip Fantastically well-written, executed, characterised and defined, and my favourite Aaron Sorkin show by a long shot. Star Trek: the Next Generation The best that sci-fi has to offer the visual medium at its purest. Packed with very human insights, thought-provoking moral and philosophical themes, I'm no trekkie, but this show fucking ruled. Babylon 5 and Firefly And these shows showed off that if you ramp up the action, with a good amount of restraint, you can still pull of truly great sci-fi. Firefly showed us what exploring an empty, godless universe would be like, Babylon 5 showed us the total opposite - a huge, in-depth, colourful galaxy full of different races with very distinct and well-toned back stories and histories of their own. I love both these shows for those very different reasons. Extras Tailed off a little bit in the second series, but at its best, definitely my favourite thing that I've ever seen Gervais or Merchant in. I think the fact that Andy Millman's a much more likeable guy and not basically a prick like David Brent's what gives it the edge over the Office for me. Friends Because fuck you, I liked it Battlestar Galactica What I love about sci-fi is that there are so many different takes on the genre, and each can be just as effective and memorable as the other if it's done right. BSG here is a much more militaristic, gritty, melodramatic and even religious take on the genre, and I really can't think of a series that's had a stronger pilot or finale than this, let alone maintained such a consistent level of quality over its run. Peep Show Because of 4OD and days off work, that's why There's more than that I think, but I'll leave it there. |

You lose major points for liking Friends. I had no idea anyone else but me watched Dirt.
