Yeah I'm watching all of Seinfeld. I saw random scattered eps when I was a kid but (like Stargate) I'd never watched a whole block or season.

It must indeed be hell. I can't even fathom it, personally.
And Seltzer, where are you up to with Seinfeld? I have watched that show from the beginning all the way through far too many times. |

You think so too? Not many people have agreed with me i've found, but yeah I think Julia Louis Dreyfus is fit, especially in later seasons.
The show is just about to hit a massive upward turn in quality, by the way. It really started to get bigger and better from season four onwards. Season three was good though, the Parking Garage is one of my favourites. |

And Elaine's facial expressions are fantastic too, especially at the moments when she's proud of something she's done (e.g. after she reveals to George that it was her voice on Jerry's tape).

Hehe i know what you mean. I have a feeling she was hired to be a straight actress, for the same reasons Jason Alexander was cast too, to give the show some professionalism. But she really did show herself to be more than that, didnt she? She wasn't afraid to look unattractive and so she was quite the physical comedian at times.
Do you remember the "Can women be funny?" thread? I said there that to claim that women aren't or can't be funny was ridiculous but that there are very, very few famous women who I actually do find to be genuinely very funny but JLD in Seinfeld is one of them. |

Maybe I have a bias because I live in Philadelphia and it's one of the few shows set here, but I think the first season is hysterically funny. After that I feel like it loses it's edge a bit but it still makes me laugh.
