I found flashforward to be decent so far, i think it was overhyped but it's still entertaining enough to keep you watching. I didn't really get hooked in until the second episode. Hopefully it continues to get better.

As for Lost I just hope that the myriad sub plots are tied up and I have a feeling that if you rewatch the whole lot (once it has ended) you could probably pick holes left, right and centre.

well this WAS a TV show back in the days when British telly was a duopoly - BBC the publicly-funded channel, ITV the commercial one. Both believed in public service television and you got some really groundbreaking dramas and documentaries, i have been borrowing the DVD of this much-imitated classic, it is an amazing window into the past.
Later in the series, one of the participants (a scouser who is actually the sharpest, funniest little kid in the early stages) ends up homeless and sleeping rough, only for one of the wealthier, more priveleged participants in the show to intervene and get him a job |

They have answered a LOT of things so far, so I'm hoping and expecting them to explain things in the last season. Some things like Libby's backstory and the reason for kidnapping Walt seem to have been forgotten, but I hope the last season will give us some answers. |
