Well if you have such a problem with a villain going to jail it clearly shows an ignorance of the comic books and Joker's personality. I'd also like to note Bruce Wayne didn't play up to being a stupid millionaire playboy in most of the comic series. I mean in some he acted kind of slow and he was typically superficial but he was still a successful businessman who had his own charity. So saying "Oh I read the comics and he was always shallow" is pretty ridiculous.

The point with the ending was that batman needed the joker and vice versa. the line was
'this is what happens when an unmovable object hits and unstoppable force' or something I'm sure the script had it planned so that the joker could always be around if they chose to do a sequel, but then heath died. They have such a big catalogue of villians they could use im sure they aren't even planning on using the joker in the next 2 sequels. |
