Opera is a superb film! Argento himself has stated that it is a culmination of everything that he wanted to achieve in cinema and the bullet through a spyhole shot is one of the best scene I have seen in Extreme cinema.

Sleepless was very patchy but had it's moments (the black gloved killer). I haven't seen the other two but as an overall limited package- I'm in!

It has been out for near 10 years I think and often forms part of poundland 4 films for a errrmm pound collection. Not a bad watch at all.

Newies today:

Mars Attacks (1996) on DVD

So much funnier than i remembered, and so well done by Director Tim Burton. This film stars (President) Jack Nicholson, Pierce Brosnan, Glenn Close and more.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life

Fright Night (1985 version)

I made the decision sometime last year that when it came to physical DVD's, I was only going to buy cult films from now on, and only when I find them second hand.

I'm ok with weird (apparently that's what everyone else thinks anyway). It does look cute though. Maybe check out his later stuff too.
