I have now But before I purchased them, I was concentrating on other genres of film, sometimes comedies can fail really badly, then I saw them in Tesco for like £3 each and thought meh, people seem to like Anchorman. And I loved Hot Fuzz so it just made sense to get Shaun of the Dead. It was just getting round to getting them I think, if they were shit I would've banished them from my collection (I love my DVD collection a little TOO much.) but they sit there proudly.

Wow, you're truly loathsome. Anyway, I just find it rare that someone hasn't seen Anchorman at least once, especially if you're a fan of comedy films.

I do try. I'm not that big a fan of comedy films, I "I was concentrating on other genres of film, sometimes comedies can fail really badly"

Sometimes comedies can be really poor. Terrible toilet humour in a desperate attempt for laughs. I find genuinely funny films hard to come by.

Really? Oh thank you for imparting your wisdom on me. I'm aware that any films can fail terribly, but bad comedies have a tendancy to come across really desperate in their attempt for laughs, and it just comes across as unfunny and shit. I prefer other genres of film, hence why I hadn't seen Shaun of the Dead and Anchorman until a few weeks ago. That okay with you?

Not especially, no. I'd understand more if you skipped out on two movies like Date Movie or Meet The Spartans, but Shaun of the Dead and Anchorman both got very positive reviews across the board, not to mention Anchorman is one of the most oft quoted films ever, so why you expected them to be "unfunny and ****" is beyond me.

I didn't expect them to be unfunny and shit. I just said comedy films aren't my favourite because a lot of them can be unfunny and desperate in their attempts for laughs, I just never got round to watching them.. Then I put it right and really enjoyed them. Nothing wrong with that is there?

Some people may just not like Will Ferrell. Simple really. In fact his 'big child' persona can get quite tiresome after a while.
