i'm confused... because when i picked this up i had no idea it was a serial, sat down to watch it in one sitting and was surprised it went on for over 3 hours... is there a shorter version?
My favourite character is ginger bloke.
I think you watched it...

They definitely could have picked a better Uhura, I'll agree with you there. I quite liked Quinto as Spock though. At first, I really had a problem with Chris Pine as Kirk, but the more I watch the movie, the more I start to think he's actually pretty perfect in that role.

But seriously, no one did a better job than Karl Urban. It's like he perfectly captured the essence of McCoy. Whatever that means.

Bought this from a local cinema, can't believe they've stopped showing it already.

There's the 'Directors Cut' version which is shorter, but because of that it subtracts from the genuine atmosphere of the overall experience...so I understand.

The Samurai Trilogy (Funny box back, only because it has the 3 DVD covers as small pictures on the back, and the order is 1-3-2 in terms of vertical order)

As a side note, anyone have any suggested outlets for region free DVD players? I know most of the ones you can get online are firmware modified rather than hardware/chip modified, and the only reason I felt it MAY be important is the new region coding system for region 1 DVDs, which is only 100% passable for hardware modified DVD players? Some firmware ones do work, not all though.

Any suggestions?

I am getting about 20 DVDs for Christmas, I have a rough idea of which ones I'm getting.
Can't wait for the yearly lock away in my room watching Christmas DVDs.
