I didn't even realise there was a film of it. It doesn't surprise me that there is though. I read the book and I loved it, but that was years and years ago. I don't know what i'd think of it now.

I decided to start my film collection today!
I bought all of these on VHS for only 13$!. :D

And I bought was I THOUGHT was a Bruce Lee movie. Apparently "Enter the Panther" is one in a long line of "Bruceplotation" films. Instead I get some fecker by the name of "Bruce Li". =\

lmao. Was it any good?

Last film I bought:

Laputa: Castle In The Sky directed by the great Hayao Miyazaki

Trying to build up my Miyazaki collection. That man is a true genius of animated film.

Got a 3 pak on 3 dvd's of Shallow Hal, Something About Mary and Girl Next Door. Also a 3 pak of 3 dvd's of I Robot, ID4 and Day After Tomorrow.
Each set for $7.50 at Target. So $2.50 each. I think they were placed in the wrong section because they rung up at $15 each but I argued and won. I wouldn't have bought them otherwise. The store was a mess.
So I'm happy. Good flicks (I haven't seen Girl Next Door though). Watched I Robot and Mary already. Rock on.

aha i got Woman of the Dunes in possibly January and only got round to watching it a few weeks ago, it is even better than I remember. We get a bum deal in the Uk though, all the best Criterion boxsets never see the light of day here (although my BFI edition of Dunes is excellent =P)
Shame you just bought that set because I know where to find 'Pitall' and the Face of Another on youtube
