Oops my bad. It's been a while since I read it so I though it was OCD.

That will be funny if it's on my high school reading list.... but then I just guess I'll get to read it again Some others I didn't mention:

Unfortunately I only got through the first half of that one before it got destroyed by rain accidentaly, and I haven't bought it back yet, but it was cool

American Psycho is one of my favorites. I found it tough to put down.

Arrow Favorite Books

Hello fellows.

I reckon it was about time we had ourselves a sit-down - a Pow Wow, if you will - to not just mention the books that we are reading currently, but to compile a thread of our most beloved works of literature. Maybe even to suggest a few reads to each other, as well as inquire as to whether something we consider picking up is worth the while.

So here we go.

Here's four of my all-times:

Let's see somethin'. I need some recommendations anyway.

Eh, I kind of use the other thread to snag any reccomendations. But I could go for some more.
This is just a hands-down fantastic book.

Here's a few of my Non-Fiction favourites.

This is probably my favourite non-fiction book on science. It's brutally honest and written in a way that does get confusing. Each section starts out with a hypothetical scenario regarding whatever Dr. Baker is discussing and then he follows up the scenario with the actual science and reasoning. It's an incredibly fascinating read that does make a lot of things make sense about yourself and the people around you. It does get a little brutal at times, especially the section concerning rape, however Dr. Baker does state that the section is written through a scientific lens where emotions play no part in the writing.

This is a hilarious read that will be sure to have you laughing out loud and quoting facts to people around you. Incredibly blunt, this book points out and disproves a lot of the myths about sex. Also the author is quite bonkable her self, but that doesn't have much to do with it. I've been meaning to look up a few of her other books, there's on the after-life that looks interesting.

Sure this book may seem a little degrading to women, however it really does show us how mechanical we can be at times. My friend Chris recommended that I read this along with Sperm Wars and they really do go well together. If Sperm Wars is the science and reasoning, this book is definitely shows the outcome in a less hypothetical way. It's really good for people who are shy around women, however I will agree that it can be a little pretentious at times, I mean it's set to look like the Bible for gods sake. Anyways, it's not purely for men, I would highly recommend women read it so they understand what a guy is trying to do, it may perhaps save you from becoming another notch on a guys bedpost.

Have probably mentioned my favourite books before but I will again.

My absolute favourite piece of literature ever is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

It sounds odd, but I actually studied this book in a subject called 'Writing Women' during my undergrad degree. I just love all the themes of masculinity, femininity, social issues, being the outsider, what it is to be human... there is just so many things you can delve into and I remember being so overwhelmed and seriously not knowing where to start with this book, but in a fantastic way. Not to mention she wrote it when she was 18.

And other favourites of mine include:

And many, many, many, more. In fact, way too many to list to even give justice to the amount of books I love.

Fantastic as expected.

Tired of the same rehashed vampire novel? Tired of all the insipid Twilight drudgery? Read this and let you faith in innovative fiction be revived!
