Dry humour is the bedrock of British humour, but it can come across as concieted and pompous at times. I think although our humour is laced with sarcasm it is also extremely self effacing too.

It's strange to see a new found love for a show that has been knocking around for years over here. I think if I met Amstell in a bar I would probably want to twat him within half an hour. Only because he's too damn witty!
