No you're right. The cartoons are part of the DCAU (DC Animated Universe).

they're pretty bad. couple that with the super hero fatigue people are starting to suffer from due to the amount of movies being pumped out by Marvel and DC and suddenly it makes sense why nobody is excited for the DCU.

I got superhero fatigue in like 2002.

The only related movies I have seen since were the Nolan Batmans.

I'm excited for DCU. I'm ready for some Justice League action and the Aquaman movie and the Wonder Woman movie coming out next year. Comic Book fans don't get super hero fatigue sooooooo.

Gone Baby Gone. Third time watching it. Good movie and an awesome directorial debut by Ben.

But I just can't get past the major miss-step of Patrick giving the kid back to her dead beat mom. Maybe it worked in the novel (which I haven't read) but it just ruined the entire movie for me.

what? if there's anyone that should be tired of all these ****ty reboots and mass production of super hero movies it should be comic book fans. why would you want your favourite super heroes getting the DC treatment right now? im still pretty mad about Suicide Squad tbh.
