So, since I've been watching a whole lot of gore flicks lately, I thought I'd lighten the load;

^ Really interesting documentary about the mighty Troll 2, the people behind it the cult following that surrounds it. Possibly my joint-favourite film of 2010.

^ I think I'm gonna start making lists on RYM of the best films I've seen for the first time this year, and this'll be one of the first I'll think of for it. Really great stuff, but I kinda wish the film was about Jason Lee's character instead, as I didn't think Ben Affleck's protagonist wasn't quite well characterised enough. Still loved this film though, and I really didn't see the climax of the story coming either.

^ Apart from this pretty frustrating portion in the middle where the plot kinda grinds to a halt, I really loved this one too. It's interesting to see Woody Allen take on such an unusual leap of logic like this at the very least.

^^I didn't like The Purple Rose of Cairo as much as Bullets Over Broadway.

I've been trying to track down Bullets Over Broadway for quite a while now, but it's been proving a tricky little bugger to find and all. If it's better than Purple Rose, it'll definitely be worth my time.

You should - it's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

It was really bad. I don't think showing ****s and girls ****ting themselves are funny at all. That's what this movie was relying on the whole time. Just sucked.

I'm not judging. Pixar kids films are genius, because the entire family can find something to laugh at in them.

Tron 2. No, I saw Green Hornet after that.

Wait, when was Tangled out?

Really looking forward to the opportunity to get out and see an age-appropriate and/or gender appropriate movie.
