instead of aptly named, I should have said aptly mentioned because the two actors are very similar and for the Doc to mention Michael was a good idea because their acting performances are similar to each other.

Meet the Hollowheads (1989) I literally watched this movie because I liked the title, I don't even remember it coming out back in the day. It's weird a little movie that tries to be like Brazil but ends up feeling like an extended Tales from the Crypt episode. Not horrible, but definitely pretty forgettable. The most noteworthy things about it are the following: it was Anne Ramsey's last movie, it was one of Juliette Lewis's first movies, and it features Bobcat Goldthwait in a small role where doesn't do that voice that he's known for. |

Oh you should definitely check it out. Here is the synopsis from Netflix, lol:
A gripping tale of intrigue and mystery in the art world, this film traces the history of the Barnes collection of Post-Impressionist paintings, which was worth billions and became the subject of a power struggle after the 1951 death of the owner. Dr. Albert Barnes collected 181 Renoirs, 69 Cézannes, 59 Matisses, 46 Picassos and many other valuable paintings. But the political wrangling over the collection eventually led to its division. I recently watched 'Spirited Away'. Though I'd seen it once before, I thoroughly enjoyed it for a second time. It's an imaginative and magical film. |
