Black Swan

Really growing tired of Aronofsky's film structures. It's to the point I know exactly what to expect going into one of his movies, and that's not a good thing. I'm beginning to think this guy doesn't really know how to end a movie. The Wrestler, The Fountain, and Black Swan all very well acted movies with sh*tty endings. I can't say I'm happy with the way this film went out.

The acting however, was pretty brilliant.

7/10.

****ty endings are my pet hate. I thought True Grit was exactly the same, brilliant story, acting, cinematography but awful ending. It was like the screen writers got bored. But it didn't need to even have the extra part as ending, it could have ended well.

I just watched Limitless. Great concept, reasonable movie. Dad liked it more than me.

6/10

well, if you're inclined that way about True Grit, watch the John Wayne original - which has the usual riding off into the sunset caboodle

Im a huge Sandler fan but this film was a disaster really. It had some funny lines in it but it was like they were just trying to hard to be funny or something. Other than looking at Salma Hayek I wasnt impressed with much of it. Which sux cuz I had high hopes

I gave up on him long before Click. His first few movies are still pretty great though.

You know I never saw click..I could tell from the previews it just wouldnt be my cup of tea as far as a story line. I have a cousin with a lot of the same opinions and taste that you have Duce. You remind me of him a lot.

Yeah I just keep thinking with each film he comes out with that somehow maybe he will recapture those Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison days. Its never really quite the same but im still a fan and have enjoyed a few of his not so great movies since the glory days of old just cuz its Sandler.

By the way Jans what happened to "borderline ahole?"
